That's what inspired Roam Free IPA, our latest collaboration with Cordova Outdoors. Brewed to honor America's 250th anniversary, Roam Free celebrates the freedom to explore, gather, and enjoy the places that make life memorable. Whether that means camping under the stars, spending the day on the water, or simply firing up the grill with friends and family, we think those moments deserve something worth drinking.

And as lovers of a great West Coast IPA, we knew exactly where to start.

A Beer Built for Adventure

When it came time to brew Roam Free, we knew we wanted something that reflected the spirit of the collaboration: distinctly American, endlessly drinkable, and built for adventure.

That meant a modern West Coast IPA brewed exclusively with 100% American-grown ingredients.

At the heart of Roam Free are four standout hop varieties: Simcoe, Citra, Strata, and Idaho 7 -each bringing something different to the glass. Simcoe delivers classic pine and citrus character, while Citra layers in bright lime zest and tropical fruit. Strata contributes notes of passionfruit and dank complexity, with Idaho 7 rounding everything out with ripe mango and juicy stone fruit character.

Built on a lean malt profile of 100% American-grown pilsner malt, Roam Free keeps the spotlight squarely on the hops. A generous double dry-hop amplifies the aroma while a firm but balanced bitterness provides the crisp, refreshing finish that defines a great West Coast IPA.

The result is a beer that drinks exactly the way we hoped it would—bright, expressive, and dangerously easy to come back to.

At 6.7% ABV and 55 IBUs, Roam Free is equally at home around a campfire, on the water, in the cooler at the tailgate, or waiting for the burgers to come off the grill.
