Back in Portland: A Fresh Chapter for Mother Earth

It’s been a while, Portland. And if we’re being honest, we’ve missed you. After stepping away from the Oregon market a few years ago, we’re finally ready to say: We’re back.

This summer marks our return to the Portland craft beer scene - not with a massive relaunch, but with a thoughtful, curated re-entry that puts fresh beer directly into the hands of folks who’ve been asking for it. Starting in July, we’re launching limited quarterly drops of our award-winning beers to select independent retailers and taprooms across the Portland metro area.

Why now? Why Portland again? The answer is simple: because it feels right. Portland has always been a city that embraces bold beer and creative brewing. It’s where passion meets palate, and that’s the kind of energy we thrive on. We’ve heard your questions, seen your tags, and read the comments asking when you’ll see our beer again. So, we listened.

Our return is timed around something pretty special - the release of a brand new collaboration IPA with Portland legends, Breakside Brewing (which will be formally announced very soon). We’ve long admired what they do, and this partnership gave us a chance to do what we do best: make something delicious, together. That collab helped open the door to reconnect with local distribution through Maletis Beverage, setting the stage for more than just a one-time drop, but make no mistake: we’re not just showing up with a single IPA and disappearing again. Our team has put a lot of thought into this re-entry, according to Kylee Souders, our Sales & Distribution Manager:

“We’re taking a thoughtful, strategic approach by timing our market re-entry around limited-time offerings paired with a few core brands, aiming to bring Portland fans a curated mix of our award-winning beers. We’re currently planning quarterly drops with the long-term goal of returning to full-time distribution. We couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead, and for the chance to serve the Portland craft beer community again."

Each quarterly drop will feature a rotating selection of brews - from fan favorites like Cali Creamin’ and Project X hazy IPAs to limited time offerings like Fresh as it Gets, Oktoberfest, and Cali Screamin'. Think of it as a beer subscription you didn’t have to sign up for — just show up at your favorite indie bottle shop or bar and see what’s fresh.

This re-entry is as much about reconnection as it is about revival. We want to find the fans who’ve supported us from day one, and also introduce ourselves to the new faces filling Portland’s tasting rooms.

So what should you do if you're in Portland and want to find us? Easy. Head to our beer finder and punch in your zip code. We’ll show you exactly where to go. We’re stoked to be pouring again in the PNW, and we hope this is just the beginning of a longer, fuller return. But that all depends on you, Portland. So grab a pint, share it with a friend, and let’s build something new together.
