THIS FRIDAY, WE'RE TEAMING UP WITH GLABAL BIKE BRAND, YT Industries, to co-host a trail clean up and conservation event on Earth Day in SoCal.

Sharing a mutual desire to give back to Mother Earth, Herself, and our community, we're rallying beer and dirt-heads for an all-day trail clean-up event with assistance from ME and YT employees, in addition to helping-hands from other popular SoCal-based action sports names.

“There’s no doubt that mountain biking and beer go hand in hand. Both are scenes with fervent and passionate fans. Giving back is a theme that we have always shared with the mountain biking community, so we are joining forces with YT Industries to compound our efforts. As riders ourselves, we must take care the world around us and preserve it for generations to come. That’s why we’re taking time to give back to something that has given us so much.”

-Kamron Khannakhjavani – Director of Marketing, Mother Earth Brew Co.

The clean-up event will take place at the YT Mill located in San Clemente, CA, at the company’s U.S. headquarters. The Mill is located just adjacent to CA State Park land that is revered and frequented by riders all over for its outstanding trail riding. Earth and YT intend to make sure it stays that way.

Complimentary beers will be available to keep volunteers motivated and hydrated, in addition to giveaways, contests, and more by YT.

ADDITIONAL INFO / FAQ

Q: What time is everything going down?

A: Trail Clean up begins at 10 am and goes until 4. Then from 4-8 it's simply a social event. It's an open house format so show up for 30 minutes or 4 hrs. It's up to you.

Q: Is this event free?

A: Sure is.

Q: Where do we meet?

A: The YT Mill Parking Lot. 211 Calle Pintoresco Suite A, San Clemente, CA 92672

Q: What do I need to bring vs. what's being provided?

A: You Need to bring sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, and comfortable shoes. YT will be providing all the necessary equipment for the cleanup activities. We recommend a camel back so your hands can be free.

Q: What exactly will we be doing?

A: This is not a dig day. We are not looking for anyone to build trails. We are there to clean up the trail system/park. Examples of tasks are: picking up trash/debris, filling in ruts on trails, clearing adjacent surface streets and storm drains.

Q: What trails will I be asked to clean up?

A: We'll be assigning areas of focus once you arrive.

Q: What time can I start drinking?

A: We'll have beer available as early as 10am but are encouraging participants to put some time in on the trails before imbibing.

Follow us and YT on social for more updates leading up to Friday's event.

Great to see companies and the community coming together for such a meaningful environmental effort. Partnerships like these show how the right connections can create real impact, much like investor matchmaking connects businesses with the right investors.

Great to see businesses and the local community coming together for a meaningful environmental effort. Community projects like this can also benefit from support through the right foreign funding organisation.
