Drinks With Your Mother
With a solid core lineup, rotational specialty calendar, and our uber- limited barrel program: The Four Seasons of Mother Earth, our three tiered selection of stellar beers gives you a number of ways to Love Your Mother.
Our flagship offering is golden to pale in color, with low bitterness, medium body, and a white head. Our Cream Ale has redefined the category and made a classic style cool again. We use a bit of Madagascar Vanilla Bean to give it that “Cream Soda” kick. This beer finishes dry despite a subtle perceived sweetness from the Vanilla. Great any time of year.
In a sea of offerings, our most popular IPA stands out as one of the finest examples of a West Coast style beer: Bursting with flavor and aroma, finished dry, and most importantly hop-forward. This beer is teeming with fruit and pine notes, and its light gold to blonde color make it drink like a session beer.
Don’t let it fool you. This is an imperial stout first and foremost. Deep dark malts lend espresso notes and British crystal malts contribute the perfect toffee and caramel flavor. Despite the dry finish there is a wonderful molasses character compliments of brown cane sugar, and just enough residual sugar to finish full-bodied but never cloying. The peanut butter is simply featured to augment what is already there…a fantastic example of a legendary beer style.

Fusing the attributes of a traditional German-style Hefeweizen and an American wheat beer, we leave this beer unfiltered, however the yeast profile is slightly muted when compared to its Bavarian counterparts. Our rendition is balanced and easy to drink, but there is enough there to satisfy true-to-style wheat beer enthusiasts. Whirlpooled with dried orange peel.
A West Coast-style IPA that is dry and hop forward. Bright and golden in color with a lasting bleach-white head and aromas of stone fruit and key lime compliments of the El Dorado and Australian Galaxy hops. Generously dry-hopped and conditioned clean.
True to San Diego. An aggressive assault of New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops in the boil and dry-hopped. A pleasant grassy aroma is layered between pepper, mango, papaya, and grape must. With just enough caramel malt to add depth to color, the emphasis here is truly of the southern hemispherical variety.
An intriguing marriage of opposite base styles. Brewed with Red X, the super clean base malt and some wheat balances the dank, citrus, and tropical qualities of Idaho 7, Centennial, and Citra hops. A small amount of Carafa is used to ensure that we nail that striking ruby red color that tends to elude many brewers.
Our multi-award winning DIPA. Starting with a touch of Honey Malt to balance the higher ABV and some Munich to create a beautiful orange hue, this Imperial India Pale Ale is rife with tropical fruit like pineapple, lychees, and kiwi juiciness. Its medium body adds to the experience giving it a great mouthfeel that allows you to experience it through the full range of palate. As a deceivingly easy-to-drink and well balanced beer, you’ll be surprised by how much flavor it packs for being so light in color.
