Job Overview

Brewers will follow all Standard Operating Procedures at Mother Earth to produce consistent, high quality products as directed by the Head Brewer.  Brewers are responsible for the production of beer from milling the grain, to carbing in the brite tank.

General Responsibilities

  • Perform the following brewing tasks according to Mother Earth’s Standard Operating Procedures: milling, mashing, lautering, boiling, and whirlpooling
  • Brew beer precisely according to the written recipe
  • Perform the following cellaring tasks according to Mother Earth’s Standard Operating Procedures: beer transfers, filtration, carbonation, yeast handling, cleaning and sanitization of tanks, checking gravities, re-circulating beer, dry hopping, checking viabilities, milling grain
  • Follow all cleanup procedures post brewing/cellaring
  • Follow all Mother Earth safety standards
  • Alert Head Brewer immediately of any quality control issues
  • Other duties as directed by Head Brewer or Management

HOSPITALITY COORDINATOR – VISTA, CA

HOSPITALITY COORDINATOR

THIS POSITION IS BASED IN VISTA, CA

The Hospitality Coordinators is responsible for positive guest interactions while ensuring the safety of guests and employees. In addition, the Hospitality Coordinator is responsible to shuttle weekly kegs from production facility to our Tap House.

General Responsibilities

  • Greet guests as they enter and refuse entrance to any guests that appear overly intoxicated at the time of entrance
  • Continuously walk through the Tap House to ensure guests are respecting company facilities and being respectful of other guests and employees
  • Proactively monitor the atmosphere and resolve conflicts between guests in a calm, professional, and efficient manner. Remove any guest from the facilities who is unable to respect company facilities and/or be respectful to other guests or employees
  • Ensure the safety of employees after doors are closed during nightly cleanup
  • Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of glass doors and windows, etc. as needed
  • Shuttle weekly Tap House order of kegs from production facility to Tap House. Move beer into Tap House coldbox in organized manner so that beer is consumed first in first out
  • Clean event equipment on a weekly basis at the production facility

Job Overview

Job Overview

  • Create initial schedule for kitchen staff on bi-weekly basis and review with management. Adjust schedules and shifts as required to optimize workflow and execution of tasks.
  • Work with management to develop and place food orders. Provide recommendations and order lists to ensure proper inventory levels and minimize food waste.  Communicate food waste results to management on a regular basis
  • Fill in for Front of House Lead as required, including addressing employee or customer conflict, receiving front of house orders, etc
