Charities

At Mother Earth Brew Co., we take pride in partnering with local non-profit organizations through donations of our beer and merchandise. Our goal in any charitable partnership is to help you achieve your goal of making a difference in our community.

There are lots of you out there doing amazing things.  We’d love to help everyone out, but that’s just not possible due to the frequency and extent of requests, we’ve established the following guidelines for ourselves when considering eligible organizations for our donations program:

Organization Criteria

Donation requests will be considered if your organization meets the following criteria:

  • Must be a public organization with 501(c)(3) tax exempt status.
  • Must be located in San Diego County.
  • Must not be disqualified by any of the below stated donation exemptions.

A qualified organization is limited to one donation receipt within a 12-month period.

Donation Criteria

Requests for donations must be received in writing (email ok) by Mother Earth Brew Co. at least 60 days prior to the event.

At this time, we do not make any monetary donations or sponsorships.
Due to increased requests, we cannot support the following:

  • Organizations that are not registered charities with 501(c)(3) taxexempt status
  • Labor organizations
  • Fraternal organizations
  • Solicitations to Advertise

Please submit all requests on organizational letterhead or stationary and include at least the following information (and anything else you think we might find relevant)

  • Date and location of event
  • Approximate number of attendees/participants.
  • Beneficiary of the event (including Tax ID number).
  • Explanation of any onsite, on-paper and/or online recognition we  will receive for the requested donation.
  • Contact information (email and phone) in case we have any questions or need clarification on anything.

Fundraisers: We will not be able to provide serving equipment, staff, tables, or tents for these events.

Silent Auctions: We will donate gift basket items, which can consist of beer, glasses and t-shirts.  Item availability is subject to change and is at the discretion of Mother Earth.  We do not provide or assemble the baskets themselves.

Beer Festivals

Participation in beer festivals will be determined on a case by case basis.  Please submit  your request at least THREE MONTHS IN ADVANCE, to be considered.

IMPORTANT: WE GENERALLY DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN FESTIVALS THAT HOST NON-CRAFT  BREWERIES OR CORPORATE BRANDS; INCLUDING BUDWEISER/INBEV, MILLERCOORS, OR ANY OF THEIR SUBSIDIARIES. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY REQUESTS OR REMOVE OURSELVES FROM AN EVENT BASED ON PARTICIPATING BREWERIES OR BRANDS THAT MAY BE DETRIMENTAL TO OUR BRAND OR CRAFT BEER IN SPIRIT. THERE ARE PLENTY OF MICROBREWERIES OUT THERE DOING GREAT THINGS…STAY CRAFT!

Please allow 1-2 weeks for processing. You will be notified of the status of your request.
Please note: ALL DONATIONS MUST BE PICKED UP AT MOTHER EARTH BREW CO. PICKUP DAYS ARE WEDNESDAY THROUH SUNDAY, NOON TO 5 PM AND MUST BE PRE-ARRANGED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
